Tom Oxley Moving Portrait Exhibition at the Lowry, Salford
About this Project
A selection of Canon projectors including the WUX450ST and the 4K500ST were used to display Tom Oxley’s moving portraits around the Compass Room at the Lowry, Salford. New and emerging artists featured in a series of large scale portrait and landscape projections including Liam Gallagher, Johnny Marr, Tom Grennan and ASAP Mob.
5 metre tall Coloramas were used to display the giant moving portraits with the Canon projectors suspended in portrait format using Unicol brackets. The generous lens shift of the Canon projectors allowed the units to be rigged high enough to avoid the image being obstructed.
