Projected Display for the BBC Proms 2022, Royal Albert Hall

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to assist designer Lucy Foster and Livewire Pictures in finding a creative new way to display video content in the BBC Proms Studio at the Royal Albert Hall.

A number of different projection materials were tested and we finally decided on a stretched elastane screen across the balcony, creating an ultra-widescreen image and allowing the Hall to be visible above it. An Epson EB-PU2010B 10,000 Lumen projector was concealed within a bespoke coffee table and the Epson ELPLU04 short throw lens used to front project onto the elastane screen.
